Live Reading of SIR by KACH Studio

Author and interdisciplinary visual artist and writer Kenyatta A.C. Hinkle will be reading live from her book SIR published in 2019 by Litmus Press. This reading is sponsored by KACH Studio and is in alignment with the call for anti-Blackness reform amongst various institutions. Hinkle is reading on her brother Sir's birthday in which he will be 40 years old as an homage to celebrating both the living and Black men who are taken before they can even reach this age. This reading is inspired by this moment of collective grieving and that is partnered with collective affirmations of Blackness and joy. This event will not be moderated and attendees will have a chance to ask questions via Instagram.
